Ok, so pizza doesn’t grown on our farm… but many of it’s ingredients do.
Here at Sow a Heart farm we grow corn that we turn into masa for jackfruit tamales served at our restaurant Sage. We grow Avocados that make the most amazing guacamole. We have Limes that we toss into a spicy mezcal margarita after a long day. We have Zucchini, Lemons, Potatoes, and Peppers. We grow Sorghum. We have some sweets too. Figs and Oranges and Tangerines . WE LOVE OUR Guavas AND OUR Squash. Hops ( for, shameless plug… our brewery in Echo Park, come try!) Cauliflower! OH cauliflower. We were one of the first to adapt cauliflower into hot wings, and we use our own custom hot sauce. Brussel sprouts ( the hipster choice of green veggies) Cabbage , Bok Choy , and all of the types of Tomatoes you can imagine.
